US & Russia Agree to Reduce Nuclear Warheads
By James Raymond Reese on Jul 6, 2009 | In News, Commentary | 1 feedback »
The US has another new agreement with Russia that will result in both countries reducing their nuclear warhead stockpiles. And that isn't all that happened while president Obama was in Moscow.
Before today's announcement, Saudi Arabia said Israel can fly over the Saudi kingdom on its way to bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. Egypt recently looked the other way when Israel sent a war ship through the Suez Canal, the very heart of Egypt. Its Arab neighbors didn't even look cross-eyed when Israel stopped a ship in the Mediterranean Sea carrying shit disturbers to Gaza. Now, after all of that, comes today's announcement: Russia says the US can fly American military planes over sovereign Russian territory to resupply troops in Afghanistan.
It appears if we can keep the State Department out of this we can actually get things done.
Where is That Much Headlined Palin "Iceberg Scandal?"

Even the Associated Press ran with the "scandal" story like it was the truth. Yes, that Associated Press. The one that is increasingly becoming an embarrassment to itself becsue it allows its "journalists" to report rumor, political wishful thinking and outright lies as fact.
I can excuse moronic outfits like moveon.org and Huffington Post who have never allowed the facts to get in the way of one of their whack-job opinions, but the AP?!?!
In the wake of all the brouhaha over the so-called "Iceberg Scandal" developing around Sarah Palin, even the FBI felt it necessary to break its own protocol to say there is no such investigation.
AP, you owe her an apology for writing those lies. Doesn't anyone in your organization do any fact checking anymore?
